The hardware refresh program is a convenient way to exchange your old Barracuda hardware unit for a new refresh unit of the same model at a significant discount. It is designed so you can take advantage of the performance benefits of the latest Barracuda hardware platforms and continue to receive the latest firmware and security updates. This program is only available to customers with valid and current subscriptions.
The hardware refresh program also provides free “Instant Replacement (IR)” to co-terminate** with Energize Update (EU) for customers without IR . Going forward if you keep both your EU and IR subscriptions current then you are entitled to a free Hardware refresh every 4 years. This means that by maintaining an Instant Replacement subscription with your Barracuda appliance, you can continue receiving a new hardware unit every 4 years at absolutely no additional cost. How cool is that!
The Instant Replacement program provides a single, convenient subscription that covers you in case of hardware failure and provides an affordable way to migrate to the most current hardware platform on an ongoing basis and also upgrades your support to 24 x 7.
